Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 September 2026

FVLM (“we”, “us”) makes a film camera for your phone. We keep this policy short because we collect as little as possible.

Your photos stay yours

Everything you shoot is graded and developed on your device and saved to your device’s own photo library. We do not upload, store, host, or sell your photos or videos. There is no shared roll and no account required to shoot.

What we collect

Only what the app needs to work and improve: anonymous, aggregated usage and crash diagnostics that help us fix bugs. We do not collect the contents of your photos, your contacts, or your location, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Permissions

The app asks for camera and microphone access to shoot, and for photo-library access to save your roll. You can change these at any time in your device settings.

Third parties

We use a small number of standard providers (for example, app-store delivery and crash reporting). They process data only on our behalf. If you buy a film pack, the payment is handled by the app store, not by us.

Your choices

You can request access to, or deletion of, any diagnostic data tied to your device by contacting us. Because your images never leave your device, they stay under your control.

Children

FVLM is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
